A good logo deserves the right branding method. The best option depends on the gift’s material, shape, artwork and quantity. Here is a quick guide to six common choices.
Screen printing
Ink passes through a prepared mesh screen onto the surface. It can suit simple, bold logos on compatible items such as fabric bags. Each colour usually needs its own setup, so discuss quantity and colour count.
Sublimation
Heat transfers dye into suitable polyester fabrics or specially coated products, such as sublimation-ready mugs. It can reproduce colourful artwork, but an ordinary uncoated product is not automatically suitable.
DTF printing
For textile DTF, a design is printed onto film, prepared with adhesive and heat-pressed onto compatible fabric. It can suit detailed, multicolour artwork. Textile DTF and UV DTF transfers are different processes.
Sticker printing
Printed adhesive labels can add branding to packaging and suitable smooth surfaces. Material, adhesive and surface preparation affect the result; check suitability for moisture, handling and curved areas.
Engraving
Laser engraving marks or removes the surface layer rather than adding printed ink. It can create a refined finish on suitable metal, wood or other approved materials. Contrast depends on the product’s coating and base material.
UV printing
UV printing uses ink cured with ultraviolet light and can suit many compatible rigid products. Surface shape, adhesion and any preparation must be checked before production.
